The Cambridge Football Club has challenged the Hamilton Football Club to ulav a match, the fourth of the «eason, at C.uiibiidge. After receding full consideration the challenge was declined. Hamilton ha-, challenged Huntly to play theieturn match at Hamilton. The Huntly Club ha-* accepted tho challenge, and will send a team on the 2">th m>t. They will come hy the l."J0 p.m. train, play from 2 p.m. to 3.30 p,m., and leturn jy the 4.10 p.m. tram. To-day there will be a pi act ice on Sydney Square, when a team will be chosen to go to Te Awamutu next Saturday, and play a combined Ivihikiln acid AWandrx ttMin. Se\eral pronnvent playeis of the Hamilton Club are at piesent disabled, and there will bi! some difficulty in getting a team to <»(i next Saturday, are particularly req\ e-«ted t<> attend the piactice ti>-day.
