THE LATEST. [Recieved August 25th, 12 50 p m.] Adelaide, August 25.

The Colonial Treasurer delivered an amended Financial Statement in the Legislative Assembly last night, showing material increase in the revenue. The debit balance for the current year is now estimated at £809,000 instead of £950,000, as in the previous Budget. The estimated expenditure is not changed. The proposed reduction of salaries is to be foregone, but the Civil Service is to be re-modelled. The Treasurer estimates the yield of wheat this season to be seven bushels to the acre.
