SHIPPING CASUALTY. [BY TELEGRAPH.—P RESS AS SCIATION.] Gisborne, Monday.
The brigantine Aratapu parted her cable and came ashore here last night during a southerly gale. The crew landed at low water in the morning. The vessel was not damaged, and will probably be got off in a few days. The Aratapu U a wooden vessel of 122 tons register, built at Aratapu in 1878. The owners are the Union Sash and Door Company.
