[Received July 23rd, 1 15 p m.J Hohaut, July 23. As an express train from Launceston last night was crossing the viaduct at Bridgewater, about 12 miles from the city, tlic awing bridge opened and the engine fell, but getting jammed ag.iingt the huttiess prevented the carriages from following, but the tender turned topsy-turvy, and dropped into the river. The fireman and another person are missincr, and are supposed to have been drowned.
