(.Received^ [ul> 21st, 1 5 p m.J Melbourne, July 20. In his Financial Statement last night the Treasurer showed the. nett income for railways to be £615,000 ; which returns 4-2 per cent on the capital. The Hobson Bay Railway returns 1\ per cent. The Treasurer state that the Post (Mice is showing an annual loss of £109,000.
