Supreme Court. Auckland, Wednesday Night. At the Supreme Court, to-d.iy, the Official Assignee applied that the transfer of the property of Dennia Lynch, bankrupt, be declared fraudulent and void. The assignee's solicitor stated that the property transferred w.is worth £1000, and .sufficient to pay the creditors 10s in the £. It was doubtful if all the auditors were making bon/l fide claims. The application was granted.
Drowned. At the inquest on tho body of a woman named Mrs Nelson, found drowned in the harbour yesterday, an open verdict was returned.
Bound for Kiraberley. Mr Allen, agent for tho Tamsui, which »» to leave this port for Cambridge Gulf, via Sydney, on the 22nd initant, has received many applications for passages and cu'go t> Kimberlov. The total of passengers booked is 47. The r»teamer is expected to take from Auckland about 150 pHs^engers, .">0 horaea and 20 drays., besides a guneral cargo.
Racing. Tempo is scratched for the Melbourne Cup. Captivalor, purchased by the Stud Company in Sydney arrived by the Manaponri this morning.
The New North Road Tragedy. Mr and Mrs Rolling, parent-* of the victim of the New North Road tragedy, left for Bi hbutio to-day. Since tho occurrence, Mrs Kelling has been in failing health, and naturally depressed inspiiits. Change of scene was ordered by the doctors.
Wool Frauds. A private detective arrived from Svdaey by the Mauapouri, in connection with a great wool fraud.
The Sydney Footballers. The Auckland footballers offer abont£l2s to Sydney towards expenses ; Christchu'ch, £60 ; Wellington and Dunedin, £.jO each.
