The criket match at Chichester, Austra- | Hani versus March's Eleven was resumed and- concluded to-day. The weather VSras fine, but there was only a moderate attendance. The wicket was much cut up. Yesfcerd&j&Xplay, resulted :— : Firat innings, visitors' scored 179. (xarrtitt \vas the largest" contributor, 4U, (caught). Home team, 2nd innings, made a poor stand against the bowling of Giffen only succeeded in patting together «3 runs., the Australians thus only. re-, quiring" 30 runs to win. This they made! ■with the loss of but two wickets, and won tlie match with eight wickets to* spare. In the first innfngs of the Englishmen Spofforth took .six wickets for 70 runs ; in the second innings (riffen todk seven for 20, the bowl,ing, being splendid.
