The Australian cricketers commenced a match to-day at Chichester against an eleven selected by Lord March. The weather is 'bplondid. There was a good attendance. The Home team went in first, and put together 140. Jesse Hide is the highest Mxuor, with 40. The Australians, at Che close of to-day's play, scored 145, with 7 wickets down.
