ROTORUA NEWS. [BY TELEGRAPH.— OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Rotorua, Monday Night.
A jwtivk named Penetito was brought before the court to-day, with stealing good* at Te Wairoa belonging to Mr Minott. The accuicd was removed to Tauranga, bail being refused. A photographer from Chrintclmrch, named Sorrel, attempted to roach Tikitapu to-day. He managed to make the edge of the bush, when his horse stuck hard in the mud and he had to return. It was impossible to proceed further. The mud has been washed down fully a foot. The springs are gradually getting less active. Professor Hutton arrived on Saturday and left for Rotomahana to-day.
