HAMILTON DOMAIN BOARD.

Thk regular monthly meeting of the Hamilton Domain Board was held in the Borough Council chambers lost night. i Present : HU Worship the Mayor (chair* I man), Mes«rs Sandes, Scott, Tippen, EdgeI cum be, and Knox.

Corkkspokdkn'CK.— A letter waa road from Mr H. J. H. EUintt, notifying that Lake Rotoiti (better known as the Hamilton Lake) had been duly gazetted as under the control of the Domain Board. Lakk Rrskkve.— It wns resolved that tenders be called for clearing and ploughing and for fencing lot 22, Hamilton Domain,; to be opened on Monday next, 28th inst. Messrs Graham, Sander, Scott, Kd^ecunibe, and Knox were appointed a committee to rejMit and to have power to act.

Waterworks.— Moved by Mr Sandei, "That ft reserve of three acres bo made nut of allotment No. 22, Hamilton Domain, for a waterworks reserve."— Seconded by Mr Kdßecmnbo, and carried.

Lor 10, Domain Lands.— An application from Mr F. Wild for lot 16 wax considered, and it wan resolved that the same bft put up and Mold by auction at the upset price of 5s per acre, for a term of 21 years.

Hamilton East Lands.— An application from Mr Staadman was rend fur lease of ap eight-acre block of land. It was resolved that the land be put up to auction at an upset price of 5s per acre per annum for 21 £' e»r.«, with the proviso that the land shall c cleared within three years from date of lease.

Damage by Five.— A letter from Mr Thomas Cassidy was read, reporting the destruction of his fence by fire, the same having been occasioned by some of the o itfMtors. — The consideration of this matter was nostnoned till next meeting.

Fresh Contbacts.— The report of the committee appointed to let further contracts for clearing »nd ploughing domain lands was read and adopted.

Accounts.— The following accounts were passed for payment: — Thb Waikato Times, £2 11s; Campbell, Cs 9d; H. I. Biggs, bolancn for Domain Board map, £10 i J. Coombea, £5 7s (sd, passed subject to the approval of the committee. This was all the business.
