A mass meeting was held on Saturday evening to support Mr Gladstone, Sir Bryan O'Loghlen, Bart, being in the ehairV The attendance numbered fully 5000, and included several clergymen. Resolutions were passed, thanking Mr Gladstone for his efforts to procure Home Rule for Ireland, and sympathising with him in the rejection of his proposal.
