The Petrel. Auckland, Monday Night.* TITR Star reporter state* that the wlialeship Petrel is in a filthy condition, pigs and fowls lying about on deck. At the forecastle the ■tench was unbearable. The few men on 'board complained that thnre is nobody to cook for thorn.
Drowning CaseHenry Hasley was accidentally drowned near Dargavillo yesterday.
Distinguished Visitors. Lord Clanmorris and Judgps Brookfield and Williams arrived by tho Te Anan today.
