KIRIKIRIROA ROAD BOARD.

The usual monthly meeting of the board was held at the Waikato County Council Chambers, Hamilton, yesterday. Present : Measrs A. Primrose (chairman), T. S. Runciman, H. Steele, and W. 11. M. Lovell. The Annual Rate.— lt was decided that the rate for tho year be Jd in the £ on the annual value. As the board had previously resolved to levy a rate of the clerk was instructed to take the necessary steps, by advertisement, &c.

Hamiltox East Ceuetkry.— A letter was read from the Hamilton Borough Council, asking tho board to contribute towards the cost of improvement to the approach to the cemetery. — The Chairman was authorised to see the Mayor in reference to tho matter.

Rivku Road.— The contractor, Mr Z. Owen, wrote, asking the board for some extra payment for filling up pot-holes on this mad. The amount <>f the contract at 4s 3<\ per yard, was £22 2s. It was agreed to allow Air Owen tho sum of 30s for extra work.

Tub Fi'ime NnsvxcE.— The Clerk reliorted that the engineer's notices havinK now been furnished, the necessary steps for the removal of fmzo, sweetbriar, &c, would now be taken. This was all the business of importance, and the meeting closed.
