The Conncil met at half-post two p.m. Mr Buckley gave notice to move for a select committee, joint und separate, to inquire into the tabbit pest, and to devise the best means to Mipprets it. The Council tfent into committee on the Police Force Bill. .Sixteen clauses were agreed to with some verbal alterations, when progress wax reported, leute being given to sit to-morrow. The order relating to the committal of the Defence Bill wan discharged from the order paper, being set down for next day. The Council adjourned to next day.
