After lead inp the advertisement convening the niPitin(?, the chairman read tlio balances heet with st.itoment of accounts, &c, winch were unanimously adopted. At the ro.id board election the .".hup day twonty-four ratepayers \<-tcd at Mornn-.-villfl, ha\itic; a total of fifty-cijjlit voh>s but of Uio-o four wore informal. At Wailiou twontj tlnoe ratepaycis voted, havnip a total of tlnrty-tw o v ote-. The new board is compound of "new blood" with the exception of Mr Clippinell. All the other lneinbt-r-, of thcol'i board declined to become candi d.ite^. I may observe, however, tli.it Mr Scddon, althouKh iucluded in the "now blood," was a moinber of tho board some yeatfs ago.— (Coi respondent.)
