|BT TKLEGHAPH.— MIE.SS ASSOCIATION.] WKLLixfITOX, Monday. Nelson returned by the Wakatipu, which arrived here yesterday. The horde is louring well, notwithstanding the large amount of travelling he has done lately, Mr Cutt*, the trainer, states that Nelson had put on nearly one hundred pounds during the trip across to Sydney, and that when he was stripped for the race ho looked by comparison with the others like a show horse. Mr Cutts is confident that if he had had the horse in Sydney four days soonor, the son of King Cole would have won the Sydney Cup ea«ily. By the Wakatipu, Mr Pilbrow also brought the yearling ho purchased at Sydney,
