Board Meeting.
Tho first meeting of the new board was held immediately after the above. Present: Messrs A. Piimrose, H. Steele, Thomas and Lovell. Mr A. Pritnroso was re-elected chairman, and Captain McPherson was re-oleoted clerk and treasurer. HOSFITAL AND CHARITABLE AIP. — A copy of the petition to Parliament praying for an amendment of the Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act was receivell fro n the Waikato County Council, and the chairman was authorised to sign it on behalf of the board. Kuakuawahia Drama iE. — The settlers interested in the drainage works along the railway, near the suburbs of Ncaruawahia North, wrote forwarding a contribution of £20 towards the work.
