TE AROHA. [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Tk Aroha, Wednesday.
Thr erection of the edifice for the Ohurch of England congregation will now be proceeded with at once, the contract liftvinc beeu xigned by Mr Shaler of Auckland, whose tender was the lowest sent in, and it is expected that in three months from now the building with all its internal fitting! will bo completed. The cost will be considerably more than waa anticipated but ft strong effort wjll be made to have the church opened free from debt, and to devise means towards thit object a meeting of the congregation is to be held in the present place of worship this evening, when the bent means of raising funds will be resolded upon. Saturday, the opening day of the shootsngseason, was wot, cold and disagreeable enough to damp the ardour of the keenest sportsman. Birds are not plentiful in this district and no heavy bags are yet reported.
