SERIOUS HORSE ACCIDENT.
A lad named James Hill, .about sixteen years of age, a bon of Mr T. Hill, butcher, Hamilton Wes»t, met with a very serious accident on Wednesday night. Hb w*3 riding a young horse, when he was thrown violently to the ground, sustaining concussion of the brain. The services of l>r Murch wero obtained, but though everything necessary was done, the patient did not regain consciousness until yesterday morning, and even then it was only partial. Since that time, however, he has steadily improved, though the symptoms of paralysis have not disappeared. Fortunately no fracture was sustained, and the doctor entertains strong hopes of a. recovery.
