SMALL-POX IN AUSTRALIA. [BY TELEGRAPH.-COPYRIGHT.-REUTER.] Adelaide, April 17.
ON the arrival of the Orient steamer Ohimborazo yesterday, the medical officers reported there was a case of small-pox on board. The patient was landed and placed in quarantine.
(Received April 10, 1.15 p.m.] Melbourne, Monday. The Ohimborazo arrived hero to-day from Adelaide. She has been placed in quarantine for fourteen days on account of the oMfi of smallpox which occurred during the voyage to Australia, The disease has not spread beyond; the one patient who was landed at Adelaide. The ship doctor reports all other passengers in good health.
