[Received April 10:h, 720 p in. London, April 15. Sin William Vernon Hakcourt, Chancellor of the Exchequer, made his Budget Statement in tho Commons to-night. The revenue for the financial year just closed Amounted to £80,500,000, and the expenditure for the tame paid to £92,250,000, or £2,750,000 more than the revenue. The revenue for for the ensuing financial year is estimated at ninety millions live hundred thousand. The revenue from Customs and excise on alcoholic beverages for twelve months was one million below the estimate. It is proposed to meet the deficiency by taking eight hundred thousand from the Sinking Fund. No increase in taxation is contemplated.
