London, April 9. Parliament will adjourn for the Easter recess from the 19th of April until the 2nd of May. The Copyright Act was read for the second time in the House of Commons last night. A special dispatch to the Prow Association says :— Mr James Bryce, Under-Secretary for India, states that the measure to give effect to the International Copyright Convention will not be proceeded with until the several colonies have approved of it. A funeral service in memory of the late Mr Forster was held at Westminster Abbey to-day. There was a large attendance, and the proceedings were characterised by great solemnity.
Constantinople, April 9. Prince Alexander of Bulgaria has yielded to the pressure brought to bear upon Him, and has accepted the decision of the European Powers on ' the Roumelian question.
Londox, April 10. The trial of the socialist loaders, Burns, Champion, Hyndman, and Williams, for connection with the riotous proceedings of the Bth February, concludsd to-day, when they were all acquitted of the charge! brought against them.
