NEW SOUTH WALES FINANCES. [REUTERS TELEGRAMS.] SYDNEY, April 6.

In the Legislative Assembly to-day Sir Henry Parket. withdrew the motion in reference to the New Hebrides .standing in his name, in order to allow the Colonial Treasurer to bring down his Budget. Sir Patrick Jennings accordingly made hia Financial Statement, showing a deficiency for the year of £1,703,000. It is proposed-to increase the Customs tariff on imported barley and butter, also to double the present duty on hops. A 5 per cent, ad valorem duty will also be levied on a number of articles now admitted free. A land tax of a halfpenny in the pound on the unimproved value is projected; and it in proposed to levy an income tax of fourpence in the pound on all incomes over £300 per annum.
