About 70 horses wore entered. A largo number sold. Sales in future at this place will start at 11 o'clock, •o nt to auit persons attending by train. ' We sold : Single-seated buggy, £28 ; light harness horae*, from £10 to £15 10s ; hacks, from £li to £10 15s each.— At Ngaruawahia on Friday, March 2lith, the yard* were inMiffioient to accommodate the number of cattle brought forward. Many were rough, and sold at low prices, well-bred cattle making fully Ohaupo rates. The present railway time-table prevented the usaal buyers travelling by train attending, not being able to get home the same night as heretofore. Wo quote : Dairy cows, from £4 to £5 10s ; steer calve*, £1 9s 6d to £1 • 14s ; yearling steers, £2 to £2 5s ; 2 and 2i-yr-old steers, £2 10a to £3 ss ; 3 and 4-yr-old steers, £4 to £5 2s tid ; fat heifers, from £4 to £4 10» each.— At Cambridge on Thursday, April 2nd, there was a larger number of cattle yarded at this place than hat been for some time past. A good attendance of buyers for both fat and stores, and nearly all sold. We quote : Dairy cows, from £5 10* ; lj-yr-old heiferi, £1 13* ; 3 nnd 4-yr-old steera, £3 10a to £4 8s Gd ; fat heifer*, £3 5s to £4 15a ; fat cows, from £4 10s to £b* 2s 6d each.
