SERIOUS ACCIDENT.

A VERY serious and lamentable accident occurred on the Hamilton road near Cambridge yesterday evening. Mr Cassidy, butcher, of Ohaupn, \u^ letuinmg from Mr Buckland'K bale, when h* 1 came into collision with Mr T. Wilkinson, of Cambridge, with the result that both the horses they were riding were almost instantly killed, and Wilkinson was seriously injured, and was brought into Cambridge in a critical condition. Ca^sidy escaped with a few bruises. Both riders in the dusk of theeveniag swerved U> the h.une side of the road, and unavoidably came into contact.
