It is officially announced that the portfolios vacant by the resignation of Messrs Chamberlain and Trevelyan have been reallotted, Mr Stansfield succeeding Mr Chamberlain as President of the Local Government Board, mnd Earl Dalhousie being appointed Secretary for Scotland in the room of Mr Trevelyan. A Pre«s Association mesnage says: It is expected that Mesirs Chamberlain and Trevelyan will withdraw their resignations next week.
