In the House of Commons last night, the question of modifying the rules of procedures came under discussion. The motion to enforce suspension for one sittinsr only in case of disregard of the Speaker's ruling, was brought forward, but negatived by a majority of 30. Mr Henry Labouchore, member for Northanpton, brought forward a notice, having for its object the abolition of the hereditary principle in the House of Lords. Mr (llndstono, speaking on the subject, stated Her Majesty's Gmernmcnt reuog nised the necessity for lefurin in the Uppei House.
