Wellington, Friday. Mr Jkllicok, solicitor, has received a telegram from Mr J. D. Lance, M.H.R., stating that he has forwarded a letter of apology to Mr Williamson, whare-bmker, for the words used in reference to the latter gentleman at the banquet to tho Governor at Westport. A sailor belonging to the steamer Kiwi is reported t» be missing sinco Sunday last. He is believed to have fallen into the harbour and drowned. Dr. Grabham was to-day presented with a handsome afternoon tea service, m»nufactured eutiioly of Thames silver, and beautifully engrossed, and an illuminated address. The presentation was made on behalf of the officers <>f tho lunatic asylums and hospital-, throughout tho oniony.
