AUCKLAND LIVE STOCK MARKETS.

MB Al-FHEI) BUCKLANP'S WEEKLY Rerour.—At the Haymarket on Friday, February 19, loose fodder was plentiful, and ranged in price from Is to 3s per cwt. ; chaff, £4 per ton ; miize, 3s Id per bushel. Horse stock were in usual number and late values, good draught ranging from £14 to £20 each. Inferior horses at nominal [)rice*i. At the Haymarkot on Tue>dxy, tides were in better lequest; best quality brought from 4d to 4Vd per lb ; pelts and skins, 2i 2d to 2s each" ; tallow, Id per lb ; wool, in bales, 4d to s£d per lb. A small muster of cattle at Papakura wero fairly conipated for. At Romuera, on Thursday, daily cattle were yarded in full numbers, and were in good demind throughout the sale, at about 10s each higher than last week. Few store cattle were yarded. Fat cattle in short supply, and prices improved as the s ilo proceeded. Be^t quality were at 20s per lOOlbs. Sheep, in full numbers maintained their lust week's values, from 1W to 2d per lb, varying with quality. Lnmbs weie also plentiful, and without alteration in values. Fat calves and pigs in short supply, but at last week's rates.

Messks. Huxtkrand Nolvn's Wkekf.y REi'onr.—Horses : Dulness has characterised tho maiket; but a limited number were brought forward, and the demand was not keen at the previous week's value. There was scarcely tho usual number submitted by auction at the Durham Yaids on Friday; the competition was fairly good, and most of tho*>e entered were disposed of. Wool, hides, and skins : The quantity was binall and demand .steady. We quote: Hides, 2Jd to 3W; hkms, from lb to 2s 3d ; wool, 5d to s^d per lb. Cattle : The supply has been an average one, and there was steady demand at about the previous week's values. Thero was a good muster at Newmarket on Tuesday of fat beasts, and the shipborne cattle Wore of exceptional quality and light weights, suitable for the weather, but notwithstanding, previous week's prices were difficult to sustain, although in some instances there was an advance. Dairy cows were not of a good description, and no higher prices were obtained. Few stores were yarded, but a pen of 12 steeis in fresh condition sold at £5 10s each. Sheep were tolerably plentiful, particularly in the West Coast yards, but prices were in favour of the purchaser, 12s !)d being the highest figure for wethers, and 9s Gd for ewes; indifferently fatted weio relatively lower. Lambs were in adequate supply. Pigs: Vary few offered, consequently we cannot a market value.
