TAOTAOROA ROAD BOARD.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the Taotaoroa Road Board was held at Kiikwood's Hotel on Saturday. There were present : Messrs N. Hunt (chairman), Semmens and Kallender. The minutes of the last meeting were confirmed, and the correspondence was read: The Clerk reported that the sum of £121 had been lodged to the board's credit, on account of the moiety of the 75 per cent.,{»f the subsidy from the Governuiuut for .six months, the other half having been paid to the Piako County Council. , Tenders for repairs to the Taotaoroa main road were opened, For the gorge*, J. Hamilton's tender at £10, and fur gravel at Is 3d per yard, was accepted. — Tenders were also received from A. J. Forrest, M. Dillon, and D.Dillon.
