Thirteen tons of quartz from the Adeline, Karangahake, has returned 92ozs. 15dwts. *of retorted gold at the battery. This ia from the same lode as the six tons which brought £579 List week at the Thames furnace. Messrs Lipsey, Barrett, Shaw, Logan, and 0. F. Mitchell, have been returned for the licensing bench. They were principally the publican's nominees. The natives have returned unsuccessful from their search for Pareana's body. A taugi is being held.
