DUTY ON COLONIAL WINES. London January 20.
The Agents-General for the various colonies met to-day, when it was resolved to interview the Chancellor of the Exchequer (Sir Michael Hicks-Boach), and urge upon him the adoption of a" lower duty on Australian wines not exceeding an alcoholic strength of thirty degress.
