Faekoa, Monday. Mr McLaren, Mining Inspector, has closed about a dozen claims at Karangahako for non-working. He states that he will insist upon all claims being properly manned, otherwise he will carry out the same policy. t At the Police Court to-day Oliver Grant was sentenced to 14 days for abusive language to the police. The heat is most intense.
