Te Aroha, Monday. A meeting was held on Saturday night to make arrangements for the forthcoming races. It was resolved to postpone them until the middle of March. A strong committee was appointed to arrange a piograinme and carry out the necesi.iry preparations. An engine with a train of loaded waggons passed over the railway'bridge for the tirst time on Saturday afternoon. The filling in of the station ground is now rapidly going on.
