GREAT BUSH FIRE AT KAIPARA. [BY TELEGRAPH.-OWN CORRESPONDENT.]

Auckland, Monday. Advices from Hellensvillc state that a tire of alarming proportions has broken out in Taylors bush, Waunauku. The {ire is raging along both sides of the railway line, and the railway station and Forrester'B stores were said to be hi danger of destruction. The whole of the men in the district are turned out to battle with the devouring element, and it is hoped their* efforts will prove successful. At Kaukapakapa the fire in Druman's bush has been kept within narrow limits, and though still smouldering all danger of spreading is believed to bo over.
