A MOST disastrous fire broke, o'lt yesteiday at the warehouses of Messrs Oiooke and Brooker, Poit Adelaide, the whole of which w.is completely destioyed. Some other adjoininir w.ire.hous'is had a narrow escape. Messrs Crooke and Brooker estimate the damage at £.'}fi,ooo to £40,000. The loss is covered by insurance to the amount of £2."),000. in which all the principal companies nre, interested.
