GREAT FIRE AT ALBURY. [BY TELEGRAPH.— COPYRIGHT.] [REUTERS TELEGRAMS.] [Received Dec. 21st, 2.45 p.m.] Sydney, Monday.
A kike, which eventually attained alarming proportions, broke out on Saturday night at Albury, New South Wales. The fl.unes destroyed the entire block in which the Australian Mutual Provident Society's ojlice is situated, and spread to the printing-offices of the Albury Banner newspaper, which was burned to the ground. The total loss is estimated at £15,000, the bulk of which is covered by insurance.
