HANDICVP HURDLE RAGE, of 10 •ovs. Distance, 2 miles. To start at 1 p.m. Over eight flghti of hurdles. Nomination, 10s ; acceptance, 10s. Second horse save his stakes. MAIDEN PLATE, of Biovs. To start at 1.30 p.m. Distance, 1J miles. For all horsea that have never won an advertised race. Second horse save his stakes. Entrance, 20s. HUN PLY CUP, of 20sovs. Handicap. To start at 2 p in. Distance, 2 miles. Nomination, Isov ; acceptance, lsov. Second horse save his stakes. MINERS' RACE, a handicap of Baovs. Second horso to icceivo lsov. out of stakes. For all horses their boua fide property for three months Distance, \\ miles. Nomination, 10s ; acceptance, 10s. CONSOLATION RACE, of Ssovs. For all beaten horses. Distance, 1 mile.
A Band will be in Attendance.
RULES.
1. The Races are open for all horses, excepting Miners' Handicap. 2. All horses to be ridden in colours, under a penalty of 10s. 3. The Auckl md Jockey JClub rules will be strictly adhered to. 4. All d sputei shall be decided by the Stewards, whose decision shall be finnl, and entries will only be taken on this condition. 5. Three horses to start for each race, or no public money will be given. 6. All protests to be lodged in writing with the Secretary, enclosing lsor. within twenty minutes of the conclusion of the race. Money to be forfeited if protest is disallowed. 7. Persons running horses must be subscribers of not less than 10a to the fund. 8. Nominations to be sent to Treasurer notlaterthanGp.m. on Saturday, 19th iust., enclosing fee. General entries not later than 6 p.m. on 24th December, 1883. 9. Weights to be declaied on the 19th day of December at 6 p m.

First race to start at 11 a.m.
N.B. — All nominations must be acconv panied by correct statement of performances for last twelve months, and colours. Entries for all Handicaps must be sent to the Secretary, accompanied by the entrance fees, by 8 p tn. on Thursday, 17th December. No entrance accepted unless accompanied by the fee. No entries will be received except on the condition that all claims, disputes and objections shall be decided by the committee, such decision to be final.
