All Horse Races to he run in colours (a scaif band or cap beinj suflicient), which must be declared at time of entiy. In the Athletic Fpnrts the usual rules will bp strictly adhered to, and three competitors to stai t or no race. All entries for the foot races to be accompanied by the entrance money, and sent in to the Secretary on or befoie 5 pm. on the 21st December next. Handicaps will be declared on the ground. Horse Races Nos 2 and 4, and Foot Races Nos. 1 and 5, are confined to subscribers living within the Matamata Road Board District, or wot king en the T.V. and Rotorua Railway. Horses entered for the District Races must have been in the district and owned by or in charge of the persons entering them, for at least three months immediately prior to the date for closing the entries. Nominations for the first six Horse Races will be received by the handicapper, Mr R. Kirkwood, Kirkwoods Hotel, Cambridge, until 8 p.m on Saturday, 12th December. Weights will he published in The Waikato Times on 13th or 17th December. Acceptances and general entries to be in the hands of the Secretary by 5 p.m. on the 21st December. Entrance fee to be forwarded with nomination, together with colours, age, and performances of horses. Three Horses to start iv each race or no rac\ No entry will be received for any of the races except upon the fuither condition! : "That all disputes, claims and objections arising out of the lacing shall be decided by a majority of the committee present, or those whom they may appoint, and thrir decision shall be final " All protests must be made in writing within twenty minutes fiom the conclusion of the race (disputrd), and must be accompanied by a deposit of £1, which will be forfeited to the racing funds should tho committee consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. Prizes w ill be added to in proportion to the increase of funds. Refreshments provided by Mr Frank Rose, of Oxford. AH races will be run under the Auckland Racing Club rules. S.
