RULES AND CONDITIONS.

All Horse Races to be run in colours (a scarf, band or cap being sufficient), which must be declared at time of entry. In the Athletic Sports the usual rules will be strictly adhered to, and three competitor to start or no race. All entries for the foot races to be accompanied by the entrance money, and sent in to the Secretary on or before 5 pm. on the 2Nt December next. Handicaps will be declared on the ground. Hoise Races Nos. 2 and 4, and Foot Races Nos. 1 and 5, arc confined to Biibiciibers living within the Matamata Road Boaid Distiict, or uorkmg en the T.V. and Rotorua Railway. Horses entered tor the District Races must hnve been in the district and owned by or in charge of the persons entering them, for at least three months immediately prior to the date for closing the entries. Nominations for the first six Horse Races will be received by the handienpper, Mr R. Kirkwood, Kirkwoods Hotel, Cambridge, until 8 p.m. on Saturday, 12th December. Weights will be published in The Waikato Tunes ou loth or 17th December. Acceptances and general entries to be in the hands of the Secretary by o p.m. on the 21st December. Entrance fee to be forwarded with nomination, together with colours, age, and performances of horses. Three Horses to start in each race or no race. No entry will be received for any of the races except upon the fui ther conditions . "That all disputes, claims and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the '•ominitti-e present, or those whom they may appoint, and their decision shall be final." All protests must be made in writing within twenty minutes from the conclusion of the race (disputed), and must be accompanied by a deposit of £1, which w ill be forfeited to the racing funds should the committee consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. Prizes will be added to in proportion to the increase of funds. Refreshments provided by Mr Frank Rese, of Oxford. All races will be run under the Auckland Racing Club ruhs. S.
