Aftei discussion the following resolutions weiecanied: — "That a committee be at once appointed to ascertain tho amount of tho expendituie ie<miied up to the last day of M.uch next (I) for the maintenance of the institutions m the distiict, and (2) for tho distribution of chatitable aid thetetu ; that such committee repoit to the I board result of cnqiiiiiiw as eaily as ptacticable; that tho following meiiibeis be appointed such committee. — Messis Kidd, Suiter, Isaacs, Luke, WVddel, (irahuin, Mitchelson, and .NLickechiue."'
