Revoke stumbled and fell at tho back of the course, unseating her rider. At the railway bend Waitiri came up, and Bonny Blink, having done all bho was wanted, retiied, leaving the two Muaketn to fight out tho honours of tint pomtion. Entering the straight, the black jacket was leading Soudan by a clear length, and at the time of pa«*ing tho post «he had increased tho gap by six lengths, Bonny Blink being a bad third.
