The detached sheets passed along the roof of the building, and wero tho means of bieaking a few panes of glass on the loof, but no further d.uii.igo resulted, and the repairs were at once effected. The gale has been blowing all day with gieat force, but no fuither damage is reported. Messrs Noith and Scoullar, of Dunedin, have protested against being awarded only tho second prize for drawing room suites. At the meeting of the Executive Com nuttoe, to day, tho secretary was instructed to ascertain the probable cost of keeping open the Exhibition dining November. The report on the subject w ill bo presented at the meeting to bo held to morrow.
