London ladies are wearing very bright colors for walking, the number of costumes of various shades of red being remarkable. In the hou^o ecarlet shoes and open-worked silk Btockinga arc much worn. E°-d is certainly a capital color under the gray skies of an Eriglisa winter, bat red sun shades in summer make one feel scalding hot. Vaiiou9 shades ofyellow, too are now in fashion, ranging from 'lemon to dce^, mdJy orasge. Duk navy blue is alao in vogue for bonnet 3 a3 well as for cravats for both s°xes. Chinchilla fur is again co.-uin^ into fashion, on account, probably, of its m\king .-uch beautiful trimming f»r red or crimson mantles. For the moment it see-in likely to oust gray Persian l.imbslun from itj pride of place.
