Ghost-hunting Party.

An hilarious kind of amusement lately introduced in Philadelphia is what is known a3 a ghost-hunting party. Tho invitations are printed on coffin-shaped paper and adorned with cross-bones, dungeon chains, and other •heerfril devices. The party repair to some house popularly supposed to bo haunted, and the entertainment consists in trjing to scare everybody into hysterics. Blue lighta, mysterious footsteps, clanking chains, and other adjuncts to every well-bred ghost are provided by the hostess, and the guests amuse themselves by firing pistols at imaginary apparitlohs and in unearthing hypothetical spooks.
