PIRONGIA MINERAL ASSOCIATION.
Thk prospectus of tho Piiongia Mineral Association waito ted through Thursday's l^iue of this paper, and although tlie object of tho association is defined, namely, the prospecting in tho King country, no ad\antagcs aie promised to shareholders if anything results, from the undertaking. This, no doubt, is an o\ersight on the pait of the prom itcrs, and wo tray assume that the i'lteiests of shaieholders will be duly protected if the undertaking should bring to light any \aluable discoveries. The thanks of the distuct generally are duo to gentlemen who have succeeded in obtaining permiision fiom the Government and the King nati\cs to prospect in tbo King country, and as the assistance asked for is very moderate, we think it is the duty of all the settlers to take a few shareh in the veutuie, as all will benefit should the prospectors succeed in discovering a payabla goldfield.
