MELANCHOLY AFFAIR AT OXFORD.
The intelligence of * most melancholy occurrence at Oxford reached Cambridge yesterday morning. A young man named Charles Willi*, storeman for Mr William Kincaid <vt Oxford, w.is found demd in his bud in a room adjoining the store with his brains blown out. About 8 o'clock a M.iori boy, als* in the employ of Mr Kincaul, went to the room where Mr Willis slept, and receiving no reply from within spoke to some nf tho neighbours on the matter. On entering the room they found the unfortunate young man lying on his bed, a frightful spectacle. A messenger was at once despatched to (Jambiulge to inform the police of the occiu rence, and Constable lirennan and Mi Kiuc.iid at once .set out to Oxford. The charge lodged m the side of his face, and not in his brain. When been this lnoining before the occurienco he was, as usual, jowally disposed. The room in \\ Inch he was found was not locked, as stated.
