THE SOUDAN WAR DIORAMA.

Thompson's Diorama of the Soudan War was exhibited at the Public Hall, Hamilton West, on Tuesday night, and in the Oddfellows' Hall, Hamilton East, la«,t night. A matinee was also held at both places in the afternoon. Owing to the inclemencr of the weather, the entertainment was not so well patronised a* it deserved. The pictures .are well painted, and convoy an excellent idea, of the war. Tho mechanical effects of the march past at Cairo, and the bombardment of Alexandria worn exceptionally good. Tho diorama is nne «f the best of its kind that h«i ever visited this district. Numerous valuable gifti were distributed at each performance. Tho diorama, will be exhibited at Huntly to-night, and at Kihikihi on Friday ana Saturday
