The 'Frisco Service. AncKLAvn, Wednesday Night. The Chamber of Commerce to-day passed resolutions urging the continuation of the San Francisco service. It was shown that the total cost to the colony last year was only £3,330.
Burglary. Richard Buchanan, a respectable young man, formerly employed at the Otahuhu station, was committed for trial to-day for burglariously entering the Otahuhu station and stealing £4.
The HeraldGarloch Collision. The Government have restored the certificate of Captain Savory, cancelled by the Marine Court inquiry, but sustains the decision of the court >c the responsibility for the collision.
North* v. The Tramway Company. Iv the Supreme Court Judge Gillies h&« declined to grant a new trial in the cue Northe v. Tramway Company, in Which £800 damages were awarded.
