PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby givjex in terms of Sub-section 8 of Section 94 " Public Works Act, 1852," that the portions of the MAIN ROAD running through the Township of Huntly, hereinafter described, are STOPPED, and shall henceforth cease to form part of the public highway. Bounded — Towards the north by a line, 100'7 links; towards the east geneially by lines, 4i 8 links, 1670 links, 431 4 links, ()(> 3 links, and 332*9 links rejpectively, and towards the west generally by lines, 338*3 links, 617'3 links, and 18T8 links respectively, to the commencing point. Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less, as the same is delineated on plan No. 3318, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland. Roads Closed Under "The Public Works Act." 2nd. All that paicel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement 2 rcods and 22 perches, more or less, situated in the Township of Huntly, in the Parish of Taupiri, in the County of Waikato, and being a portion of a road line varying in width and lying within Section No. 36 of the said Parish ; commencing at a point on the western side of the road, which traverses section No. 36atadistance of 262 2 links, or thereabouts, fiom its Southern boundary. Bounded — Towards the west by lines, 37S'G links and 390 7 links respectively ; and towards the east bylines, 274" 1 links, 110-3 links, 200 6 links, and 366 9 links, respectively, to the commencing point.
